Union Food recently attended the Thailand Food Expo (ThaiFEX).  Here we were able to showcase our popular Double Dragon brand sesame oil which was so successful that by closing time, every bottle had been sold out!  More pictures are available here and in the Gallery Section.

Documentary Episode: “Vegetable Oils”

The episode on “Vegetable Oils” produced by documentary programme “Krajok Hok Darn” was televised on Tuesday 10 February 2009 at 16.00 on Channel 7. On Monday 12 January, 2009, Three Lions Co. Ltd. , the producer of “Krajok Hok Darn” documentary programme visited Union Food Industry Co., Ltd. to film the manufacturing process on site. The Company also provided additional information to educate the members of the public interested in the history and manufacturing processes, value and benefits of sesame oil.

150,000THB for Women & Children

Thai Union Food Industry Co., Ltd. participated in the “Roy Duang Jai Thai – Sweden” programme by contributing 150,000  baht for the protection and assistance to women and children who suffered from human rights violations and abuse at the emergency shelter sponsored by the Association for the Promotion of the Status of Women under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Soamsawali. Khun Sunee Wangwanitkul, Vice President of the Company was also presented with a plaque from HRH Princess Soamsawali on 8 October 2008.

1,200,000THB for 5 New School Buildings

On Sunday 12 May 2008, Mr. Huang Yung Pun, President and Khun Sunee Wangwanitkul, Vice President of Unionfood Industry Co., Ltd., the Board of Directors and employees participated in donating five class rooms worth 1.2 million baht to Baan Pa Sak Gai School, Tambon Baan Doo, Amphur Muang, Chiang Rai. It is hoped that these classrooms will be conducive to the students’ pursuit of education and to encourage them to study and aim to acquire knowledge that can be adapted to their daily lives and that they can live happily in society.

Donation to Wat Om Yai School
